Petersen will rock out with custom cars and Metallica artifacts
30 modern hypercars also will be displayed in upcoming exhibition
During its annual press conference at Pebble Beach, the Petersen Automotive Museum announced two upcoming exhibitions and another educational initiative being undertaken by the 25-year-old facility on Museum Row in Los Angeles.
In February 2020, the museum will open an exhibit of 10 custom cars collected by Metallica front-man James Hetfield. The cars, including the 1948 Jaguar “Black Pearl” and the 1937 Lincoln Zephyr “Voodoo Priest,” will share the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery with a showcase of Metallica artifacts and memorabilia.
In June, 30 contemporary hyper- and supercars will be displayed in the Mullin Family Grand Salon, said Terry Karges, the museum’s executive director…..
